No problem with Baines getting a 2yr contract. Still think we need to look at the long term for the position & demote him to back up some point, but its important to keep someone like Baines around.

Could also be a few of the existing deals are being redone to increase wages mate, if we are gonna be bringing in players on 100-130k pw, then the likes of Baines, Coleman and a few others who where near top earners will be massively behind them. So no extra years but just extra for the current length of contracts. Makes sense if you don't want a lot of disgruntled players. If so will be telling who does get new contracts on increased wages and who gets left on the old deals.
