Nah, would love him back on a free, he's ace. He did swerve us when the most opportune time came so we shouldn't be coveting him too much, or paying any sort of fee if it can be used on someone who has the best of their career ahead of them. ie: Holtby.
 
I hear you guys on young vs. old (i.e. Holtby vs. Donovan), but LD is at least somewhat a known quantity whereas Holtby's fit on the squad is unknown.

It's not just about age, though it's a legitimate point.
