Leicester allocation

Well we need a big atmosphere at these games and if we don't allow certain people in it will be subdued. You know how quiet Goodison is, do we want to carry that into the aways? The aways have a uniqueness about them, that's gone now. We need the so called pyro people to get things going.

Not sure I like that

Goodison is quiet, yes. But away games will never be the same no matter who goes. There is always some older people who prefer to sit down, then some people who watch the match standing but don't like to sing, then there is the people who like to sing but don't go overboard and finally there are the 'ultras' who like to start chants and get pyro going etc. Speaking as someone who goes to every home and away the system is fair for the credits and the more games you go to the more you deserve to go (priority). As for supporters clubs, I am part of one myself and they are very nice and they didn't get any derby tickets for people last season, people could only buy them with their credits. Someone mentioned supporters clubs not going to places such as Newcastle, we took 2 coaches and a minibus.

the only reason i buy my adult season ticket is so i can get tickets for away games otherwise i would do as many folks that i know in their 30s and just buy a kids season ticket

Just had an email saying that they have approximately 1,000 tickets left for the game so they think that there will be tickets available for tomorrow.

Presumably because they were members of a supporters club and so could get their away tickets through them without being a season ticket holder.

Got you. But even with that being the case surely they'd have been building up credits throughout the season by going?

I don't understand why supporters clubs have any sense of priority over regular season ticket holders. It's crazy.

If each of the members of a supporters club have season tickets then they deserve to be treated in line with every other season ticker holder. But how a random member of a supporters club gets his hands on one for Leicester ahead of an average Joe season ticket holder is ridiculous.

Surely this is a greater injustice than public sector's pay and conditions?

STRIKE!!!!

My Quarry with supporters clubs is that the runners can easily bend it to benefit themselves. I've been in an unspecified supporters club for the last 4-5 years, but haven't had a ST, but go as often as i can, my mates, and their families are in it too, so they're completely oblivious to eTicketing, so it all gets sorted for themselves, they went to get tickets for the Tranmere game the other week through eTicketing, and discovered that they had exactly 1 Stub for the last 5 years, and that was Newcastle. They went to 15 aways last year, and fair enough, they still get tickets, but if they ever left, they are screwed, whilst the operator, who only went to 5-6 aways last season, is shown on the official website, holding up their shirt from Big Dunc for 'going' to every away game last season. It stinks.

Why should supporters clubs be given tickets when the people they are applying for don't meet the sales criteria, it's a joke. I think the club have put a stop to these allocations because they can see problems when everyone is wanting tickets for the forthcoming European campaign.

I like that Leicester do an under 22 ticket, even if it is only four pound off, every little helps in these times of high prices. Shame I wasn't old enough to go to Filbert Street but looking forward to this all the same.
