Leicester allocation

I got mine today but I keep hearing people talking about supporters clubs and people saying they're struggling for tickets. I really don't understand what has changed, can somebody explain thoroughly to me please? All I know is that supporters clubs won't get tickets but does that include the likes of hans tours and the walnut? I can imagine a different atmosphere at the games because the so-called lids won't be able to go and we won't have the same at atmosphere in my opinion.

The new ticket has its ups and downs it stops abuse of the system or tour operators using our fans for profits or favouriteing certain members. On the other hand some away fans who follow us everywhere, who don't have/ can't afford season tickets may not get a look in.

I heard it was certain supporters clubs asking for 100's and hardly supplying client references hence asking for allocation to just sell on to ppl

No it doesn't, unfortunately.

I know a supporters club which gave away tickets for the derby to those who had hardly been on the coach all year. That's why i stopped bothering with them.

Well we need a big atmosphere at these games and if we don't allow certain people in it will be subdued. You know how quiet Goodison is, do we want to carry that into the aways? The aways have a uniqueness about them, that's gone now. We need the so called pyro people to get things going.

Tbh - Expected the credits to be 10/12 + just like Hull last game of the season, bit weird...
There was something untoward going on with away allocations towards the end of last season. There was no way that the allocations were being sold out when the criteria was up to, as you say, 12 or more tickets and never went any lower. The disappearance of the derby tickets was the biggest 'mystery'.

I hope so, it barely ever dropped to STH last season. How are you meant to build up credits on your ST when others who are pally with their supporters club can take them without any previous credit history

To be fair there was enough games last season that went to general to get on the ladder, at least 2 and there was 2 more than went to ST only, so that is 4 credits available to start with.

This season it is going to be a lot harder i predict to get away tickets, but those who have been doing the aways including the not so attractive ones will be rewarded for loyalty.

The Albion game will be easier to get tickets for, 1st game of the season is always hard.

I think the new system is much better. I knew a few lads who only went to United away (and a few others) last year because They think home games are crap.
Why should someone who is not even bothered about the home games be allowed to pick and choose there away games just because they are pally with a supporters club, when there are others who have forked out on a season ticket to have more of a chance to get an away ticket amd can't.

Why wouldn't those people be able to get a ticket if they were going all last season?

Certain supporters clubs get looked after for the big games but hardly take any to the Newcastle aways on Wednesday nights in January while the clubs who take a coach every game get shafted for the likes of ESCLA because they are mates with kenwright when the sought after tickets are needed. Too many people in the ticket office sort out there mates as well

Untrue.

I'm in the North East supporters club and we take plenty during midweek games and the likes. I know ESCLA brought loads up here to Newcastle last season which was a Tuesday, as they also do with plenty of aways.

There is no preferential treatment to supporters clubs. As someone who is an active member of one can assure you of that. I am a ST holder, but can't afford too many aways, so I struggle to get them when I can go. I have to wait for the relevant away credits like everyone else does.

I've not been an ESCLA member for some time but still have friends who are and they are even struggling to get tickets for away games because they are season ticket holders who very rarely travel with them due to not living in London and making their own way to the games.
From what I can gather unless you regularly travel with them on their arranged trains and coaches then you will struggle to get a ticket from them too
