Every joint I saw rolled had tobacco in it.

It's like everything though mate. Someone necking a glass of raw vodka will do more damage to themselves than someone who necks a tinny. Adding baccy to your spliff or smoke will be more harmful than smoking just weed. If you smoke your weed in a vaporizer, it eliminates tobacco use completely and has much better effects on the lungs. Vape smoking weed removes 95% of the smoke you inhale.

"1928 after a League of Nations conference"
In fact 1925 Geneva International Convention on Narcotics Control, organised by the League of Nations. That led to the Dangerous Drugs Act 1925 which came into force in 1928.
Between 1934-39, a League of Nations sub-committe was reviewing the international prohibition on traffic in cannabis. Most of the experts invited to testify were medical officers stationed in the Middle East and North Africa. The international discussions of the cannabis prohibition were informed by colonial assumptions about Arabs and/or Muslims. Then WW2 happened, and here we are, with still no sensible debate in parliament.
Good luck to Paul Flynn - a truly great MP.

Just one of hundreds of testimonies on youtube.

Never dispute the oil benefits, just that it is quite different from smoking a joint or something. Like I said before I have no issue if people want to treat it like cigarettes and regulate it that way. Just that most people campaigning for legalization want it for recreational use not medical (which is fine as I said treat it like cigarettes) I know tons of friends who smoke and I don't have a problem with it
