Sort of.

Since as Valente has come back and by all accounts played well in the past two games, why dont we put Baines at left mid, move Arteta to the right, add Cahill, Carsley and Pienaar for aceness.

Thats a rare tactical discussion from moi.

Good idea. Isn't Baines injured at the moment though? If not then we should definitely play this formation atleast then Neville can slot into the Right Back slot where he belongs.

He is very skillful and nippy for a left back, he could fit into that role quite easily. He is acknowledged as being the best crosser of a ball by the other players, Cahill will benefit.

Yeah, u think Moyes is playing Valente out of preference! :P

Seriously tho, i believe this could work... in fact i think i actually suggested something similar a couple months ago. So ner Chico :)

Something could be said there along the lines of great minds thinking alike.

I'll be calling for Valentes head next month, thats usually what happens. He's on my scapegoat list.

great thinking, i'm sure baines can deliver a cross better than osman. while ossie's been class, i almost feel like he'd be better suited to come off the bench as a more attacking midfielder / striker, his strength is definitely in his shots, i've seen him score a fair amount of goals, rarely from the wing.

baines at left wing, defence sorted out (with neville finally moved back), sounds like a proper idea. now someones gotta deliver the memo to moyes:lol:
