@davek n @ijjysmith although in principal your argument is valid. In reality Legia were screwed over massively, 6-1 n they brok the rules with 4 mins to go out of 180. come on who deserves to be there really???!!

Back in the day, spVGG of Germany signed Nii Lamptey, and apparently nobody would room with him for away matches.

Harsh

What are Everton's political leanings?

Our origins are vaguely tied up with the 19th Century liberalist movement (George Mahon was an avowed Liberal as opposed to John Houlding's Conservative activism in the city) but I don't think Cuff, Moores, Carter or Johnson had any socialist agenda! Scousers tend to be the most left wing people in England, of course, so I suspect the Street End is a lot more socialist than the board room.

Depends on what era really

During the 70's and 80's we were known for racism and the like from the more extreme part of our support

These days I think we're a bit more liberal. We have a lot of foreign players in the side and also have a foreign sponsor

Still have the odd idiot like, but I think we're generally quite a forward thinking club these days
