I LOVE my club and country and served in the forces to preserve our opinions in this country

No place for talk like that here. It's a matter of opinion if what the British soldiers are doing abroard is actually of any help to the British people whatsoever. Upon more careful study it may even do more harm than good. My own brother has served in conflict-ridden places so I'm not just flouting an opinion for the sake of it. Just keep talk like that off the football board.

Superb idea.

It's a nice sentiment, definitely. But I agree with most others here in that I prefer heartfelt spontaneous shows of respect for players who have passed on. Twitter I find very self-congratulatory.

RIP Gary Speed, I hope his family are coping well.

all in favour of respecting Gary Speed, but people need to remember, when Everton go to Leeds it gets tasty outside the ground.
Not saying it will damage any tribute to Gary, but dont think we like Leeds or they like us.
There 'boys' will be out to make us welcome.
