Leeds United

The top 10 will be impossible to break into if it keeps going this way. Bad enough with 6.

If it does happen they will surely run into the same problems that we had where our income limits the amount we can spend on wages, im not sure anyone can do a Man City/Chelsea anymore can they ? Or am I placing too much faith in FFP being applied consistently...

If as rumoured the owners have run out of patience with PSG why would they go to Leeds ? It would surely require a huge rebuild job, in a vastly more competitive league.

Leeds Utd are an obvious target for investment. The only league club in a big city that is commercially booming. The location of the ground is also a plus, with ready scope for easy expansion on at least three sides and a motorway and railway within spitting distance. The local and pan-Yorkshire support is huge and they already get regular support from Ireland and Scandawegia. Whilst not at the Liverpool or Man Utd levels of international appeal it certainly rivals the like of Arsenal and Chelsea and so dwarfs ours. To label their support base as toxic is crass and as idiotic as judging ours on the 70s 'Everton Are White' chants. There are lots of positives about Leeds.

Was there a few weeks ago, big city, there's been lots of investment in the infrastructure, but still lot's to do.
Their supporters are stuck in a seventies timewarp living off the crumbs of history that Revie left them.

My old man was born and brought up in Leeds and thankfully he's a RL fan.
I highly dislike Leeds supporters, horrible lot I remember their arrogance when they were in their pomp and believe me they haven't changed a bit.

I was made up when they were put out of the play offs, they've seen so many bad business deals over the past 30 years or so that I doubt anything will come of this.

They've been floating around well below their natural level for longer than I would have believed possible. Something like this was bound to happen eventually.

No immediate implications for us but if they as a club start operating at or close to their potential (and Qatari cash certainly won't do any harm in that regard) then it has the potential to make life a little more challenging in the long run.

I know.

If only we were bought out by a billionaire who put at least 300 million up for transfers?

God imagine where we would be?

These are next level fella - Moshiri is wealthy but so is the likes of Mike Ashely.

Bit different when you are backed financially by a state and can use any random company in your nation to sponser the hell out of your club to get over FFP.

Shame that clueless bum Kenwright couldn't convince either City or these guys owners to buy us.

When did it become acceptable for owners to start owning more than one club?

Man Citys owning satellite clubs

Red Bull

Now Qatar having PSG and possibly Leeds

Football has become a farce at the top level.

Wish the majority of the 92 clubs in england would take a stand and fans dont turn up - let the money men bugger off to a euro super league.

Back in the early 70s every season, home and away, there were regular 'exchange' visits between rs and leeds pubs and clubs
rs; you can judge people by the company they keep.
Say no more.
