I'm all a reasoned approach towards refs mate but this fella consistently f*cks me off watching him officiate a match. It's not his fault that he's seemingly incapable but the authorities for allowing him to continue. I've never seen him ref a match for us without thinking he's absolutely stinking after it and that bothers me. You're not supposed to notice the ref yet he manages it every single time like.

If I made as many mistakes in a year in my job as he makes in his, I'd be sacked.

Like I said i'm not sticking up for him, he does make more clangers than your average bear, i'm just saying refereeing is extremely hard and football is a fast paced sport so mistakes will happen.

So's my job mate, and there's a hell of a lot more money at stake if I make a mistake than if he does.

He's not good enough to be a top level referee, there's no two ways about it.

Oh aye and I prefer that to the stop start nature of most American sports like.

most definitely, I think a lot of people would be really hacked off if it ever went down that road of challenging every decision via video replay. Not for me i like the game just the way it is.

He is atrocious.

Was he the one who sent Arteta off against WBA a couple of seasons ago for retaliation following a passage of play that had seen Baines smashed in the face and Arteta deliberately kicked two or three times with no WBA player punished?

And allowed Saha's ludicrously offside goal against Arsenal?

I hope he dies of old age after forty years confinement in a Siberian correctional facility for referees.

<patiently awaits for post to spontaneously disappear>

It's a game of opinions and while we may not have agreed with a lot of his, are they really mistakes? He sees no foul therefore...

If he sees a foul and does not give it, that is not a mistake. That is cheating. I don't think he is a cheat.

I thought he was one of about 15 on that pitch who didn't perform well.

Sometimes it is hard to see things clearly when rain is lashing on your face.

I do think his level is lower leagues though.

There are better refs: ie. one's who agree with my view of all things Everton more than average. :)

Johnny should have been sent off. What a foolish thing he did.

Also, have you noticed that Spit has the same stoopid goofy face that Sewerez makes?

Refs dont go out to be bad refs, they just cant see everything we see with all the camera's of SKY, So lets give them a helping hand, instead of the 4th official being a someone to complain at, give him lots of screens to watch, if he see's it he can buzz the ref like the linemen do.
