Leaving the game early

I would never criticise people for leaving early because you never know why they are doing so. They may have a train or bus to catch.

I have had to leave games early before....maybe trying to beat the rush if I have to be somewhere that evening or sommat.

But the people I saw leaving round me weren't going anywhere....they were cussing and effing and blinding about the game.

Now, again I can understand a person walking out in disgust if the opposition have just scored to take a three or four goal lead with five minutes to go.

I have done that more than once as well :(

I walked out if Wembley in '86 shortly after the RS scored their third goal.

But how the heck anyone can walk out the game in anger when we are still only one goal behind baffles me

As Brian Clough famously said one time.....it only takes a second to score a goal ;)

Sat in the upper bullens and some fella left 5mins early and attempted to through his scarf to the pitch.

Ha ha ha, that's what it was, I sit in the lower bullens near the halfway line and was wondering what came down into the paddock near the end, [Poor language removed] of a throw to be honest.

I was in the Park End. Anyone see Robles celebration. The guy was clearly delighted/ Good moment for the ball boy to remember.
