Niasse showed good technique for his goal, lovely chest control. I would give him a place on the bench next match. His attitude has been top notch.

Let's reserve judgement on Niasse until he's had some meaningful game time in the blue shirt. Can't fault his attitude or determination - not something you can say about a lot of the others this season. Could pitch in with some useful goals which are much needed.

Niasses came into an Everton squad bereft of confidence and dying on its arse under Martinez. He's bided his time and got his reward tonight. I don't see why he shouldn't occuppy a place on the bench. Offers something different to other players. He deserves a 2nd chance as he wasn't even given a 1st chance to be fair.

To be fair on Niasse, Sandro looks like an absolute crab

He made a great run and played a clever pass for the second goal - atoning for a dire free-kick moments before.

It'll come for the lad.

He's 22 and adapting to a new country, a new, much more physical style of play and most importantly, the intensity of the English game.

Give him time. He's a real talent, but he needs confidence.
