Lawrenson again.

If the board is pissing Moyes off over Transfers then he should come out and tell so we can back him and get rid of the board instead of losing Moyes.

..I am really critical of this Board, but if Moyes is so pissed off with the lack of backing why is his relationship with BK supposed to be so good?
It'd make more sense if they had a falling out.

I've posted before (I could be completely wrong obviously ) that somebody else stumped up the money via a guarantee , loan or whatever & that prior to that there was just very little there . When the fer money turned up a lot of people were very surprised .

I posted the club,s credit situation at the start of Jan and that makes sense now. TBH, none of this will make any differance to the moyes out belters but it does show time and time again how **** we are off the pitch.

More nonsense from Lawrenson as he predicts a 2-1 win for Southampton:

Everton had
a very good result against Manchester United last weekend - and we know what the fall-out from that was for David Moyes - but, if they are going to finish in the top four, then the Toffees need to win all their remaining games and I cannot see it happening.

Even if they do, Arsenal have to be favourites for the final Champions League place because of their easier run-in. I can see the Gunners beating Newcastle on Monday and then winning both their remaining games.

Southampton have been cruising a little bit of late -
they drew at Aston Villa last time out in what was a bit of a non-event and lost to Cardiff in their last home game - but I see them putting on a performance this weekend.

Saints defender Luke Shaw's future is being talked about a lot, and he has been heavily linked with United in the last few weeks.

Moyes may well have been working on that deal before he was sacked but I don't think his exit will have changed much; United will still want Shaw because he could be their left-back for the next 10 years.

There is SO MUCH that winds me up about this "prediction".

1. The shoe-horning of a David Moyes/ Man United discussion into an article on Southampton v Everton.

2. The fact he literally gives no reason whatsoever for his prediction.

3. Not only does he give no reason, he actually gives reasons in support of why Everton might win the match "Southampton have been cruising a little bit of late."

4. The obvious attempt of trying to flog Luke Shaw; it annoys me when the media do it about our players (Barkley, Stones, etc.) and it is equally frustrating to see Southampton being treated in the same way; to a team only one place above them no less.

Who cares? Southampton are a decent side and he has the right to think they might beat us. Lets prove him wrong.

It's just so very predictable though. Try and siphon off the upcoming players to the "big clubs", knock Everton's challenge for top four, etc.

He is so formulaic in his approach to punditry, that me and a mate used to do an alternative weekend prediction on the way into work every Friday; instead of predicting the results ourselves, we would predict what "Lawro" would predict and it was near enough ALWAYS the same!

If a team is strong favourite to win and at home: 2-0
If a team is slight favourite to win: 2-1 or 1-0
Two evenly-matched teams: 1-1

If a team is strong favourite to win and at home: 2-0
If a team is slight favourite to win: 2-1 or 1-0
Two evenly-matched teams: 1-1

Is about right TBH. Don't even get me started on Merson as well. If it were spurs 1 point ahead for CL and not Arsenal a million to 1 shot he'd say away win. Most pundits should be seen and not heard.

Think it's less about him picking them to win and more about him spending more time in a Southampton vs. Everton preview talking about Manchester United than any of the two teams that he's meant to be previewing.

Here are a few reasons why Mark Lawrenson doesn't matter.

1. This reason:

2. This reason:

3. "A keen gardener, trombonist, and pipe smoker, Mark Lawrenson is also a kite flying enthusiast" - Wikipedia

4. "I like Mark more than French Bulldogs, although I can't deny I find them hard to tell apart" - Nigel Farage

5. He has on more than one occasion been out-thought by a dead octopus
