I guess a few more day/weeks/months won't make much difference then.
I just think we'll hear something soon-ish one way or another.
yeah makes no odds between now and end of the season/opening of summer transfer window

What, hahaOther forums go from it being done next week to have being off from two weeks ago. They have no bloody idea haha neither does anyone here but no one here is acting itk.
Don't let your bias ruin life for you
If I was taking over Everton I'd certainly want to have had lengthy discussions with the council and land authorities about redevelopment of Goodison or the new WHP development. If a period of exclusivity or a due diligence examination has now been completed and nobody has walked away...then would the negotiations...the real negotiations, only really begin now.
I would have thought that previously the heads of an agreement may have been put in place.
The asking price.
The current boards vision for the club.
The new owners vision.
The new stadium.
The funding for the project.
The ownership/management structure.
Others as well I am sure.
But, if everybody is coming back to the table then are the real nitty gritty details only coming for discussion now?
This is a huge deal and a hugely complicated deal.
I would not be surprised if nothing is heard for weeks yet.
I am sure the council and their plans may also have a bearing in all of this.

Future planning for the club would hinge on what they said and I couldn't in the right conscience buy the club without a clear plan going forward or at least an understanding where we stood. Would ideally have done that prior or during the process of due diligence mind.
...initially there was thought to be some Irish involvement with their group, if that's the case, excellent, because the people they were referencing are affiliated to the group via horse racing connections and are very 'moneyed'. Sadly I think it was a case of journos putting two and two together and coming up with 9 and a big bag of tits....it's a wait and see now innit...

If we are taken over by Americans then I can see them trying to play tough with LCC.
They have no allegiance to the city and would happily relocate anywhere if a good enough offer was on the table.

Plenty of land available round Chorley where you could build a new stadium. M61 and M6 links on our doorstep. Electrification of the rail line is going to happen fairly soon so good public transport links too. Personally I welcome our new American overlords tough bargaining position with the council.
Personally I don't think #2 is even possible. Spurs are taking 4 years to build their boss stadium, I'd like something similar. It comes down to this...
Do you as a fan trust the current owners to get it right when selling this club to a new owner who will be able to take this club to the next level?
My personal interpretation of the next level is:-
1. Winning Football Silverware within 2 seasons
2 Moving into a new stadium within 3 Years.
3. Injecting capital into the club to support the purchase of players to challenge the top 4 within 2 seasons.
4. Growing the brand on a global basis to support additional commercial revenue streams and increase the global fan base.
If we are selling to a new owner who cannot meet any of the above then IMHO I will hold onto my memories of the 80,s and it,s goodnight and good-luck.
