A two-fer. Not only late, but not even a goal. Get in!

Not one which get talked about much for obvious reasons but a very very late goal for me which stands out is Stuart McCall's equalizer with the last kick of normal time to take the 1989 FA Cup final to extra-time. It was a proper scruffy goal as well.

An extremely late effort against your biggest rivals at Wembley in the days when the FA Cup was still massive. No wonder there was absolute bedlam in our end. Anyone else who was there that day will recall it.

Yep,we went ballistic!!mainly because we were terrible that day and there was no sign of a goal coming,always remember the lad going on the pitch a couple of minutes previous and having a go at Tricky Trev,well it did the trick!!Pity about the result in the end though

Think it was Joe Max Moore getting a last minute equaliser against Spurs in early 2000 mate.

That sounds right. Another poster mentioned Dave Watson but it looked to me like a more youthful player the way he slid in and celebrated. I was thinking Barmby, Speed or Joe Max Moore so that sounds accurate, and also because of the hair.

Yep,managed to extract that one from my mindset was worse than the Stapleton goal, horrific memories of it hitting the divot,going in off the post and that sodding dance
