Last post read on basic mobile mode

Furious here like.

On basic mobile mode, when you click on a thread, instead of taking you to the first unread post, it goes back to a post from hours back.

I've tried sawdust, shouting at it and kidney punching Del's mar but no joy.

I demand a free mug as compensation. Or a cuddle off TxBill.

Not sure what's changed but GOT has always been great on my mobile the times I've used it in the past. Much better than lots of sites. Not sure why you'd want to change it?

Do you use default mobile style or basic mobile? The basic one is perfect, everything you need whilst on the move.

Default has too many things on it. Fine if you're sat in the house on the mobile but if you are, you might as well be on the full site mode.

I've no idea mate! On my old blackberry this site was crap but my new iPhone5 and it's simple and easy. I didn't actively select anything.......which maybe has me thinking it's default.....

How do I check?

Albums, profile, notifications, multi-quote, I know some are on basic mode too but they're hidden away there. The reply with quote buttons are tiny and you have to click reply to thread whereas on basic, the box to type in is already there.

I use handheld a lot when I'm out and about and find the basic mode really simple to use, and the default mobile mode buttons small and the layout complicated.

Obviously if it's costing you loads extra to have basic mode too then get rid but I prefer it by far, and the lack of it would result in me using the forum a lot less*

*waits for someone to comment on this not being a bad thing

I'm with Jock, i use basic cause it looks much better and easier to use.

Not much in it really, im sure default would be ok once i got used to it but please please please don't take away basic.
