Problems with a mouse can be a bugger
you can lay traps which are usually effective, i've heard people say they ask the local pet shop for dried snake poo and you can leave this wherever you think they may be entering

but the only surefire deterrent is a cat, stay safe x
Im surprised this got to nearly the 3rd page before this was mentioned.

Am I the only one who is secretly pleased that a young, IT savvy lad needs help from GOT with his laptop?

I'm with you lad, I even know the answer to his problem, easy fix, but as he's not a member of the Oldies Club I'm not allowed to tell him.........

Need help lads.

On chrome that thing has happened where it's not Google anymore when I search for stuff and there's ads everywhere.

I've reset the search thing to Google but there's still adverts in places there normally isn't.

How do I set it back to normal? Oh and I've tried adblock but it went away after a bit

Your laptop dancer is clearly not up to snuff.

A total reboot mate its the only way.

No I'll lose FM
Press the start button, go to control panel and then install/remove programs. Usually any search bar ad software will be in there. Look in particular at things that have been installed around when you started getting the adware

Download CCleaner and a decent virus and malware scanner, boot into safe mode and run them as admin.

Manually remove any unknown programs too, as Basil above said.
