Lack of signings

I saw that Cahill said that the lack of sigings wasn't worrying him, I have to say that I am actually quite optomistic myself, we have a good squad and some really promising youngsters. Gueye has been really good pre season, that gives us strength on the left and needless to say Barkleys been incredible. I just think that the more critisism the fans throw the players and staff then the worse moral will be the pitch. We need to get behind the team and boost them to get a good start, the more negative we are the worse the moral will be

It's exciting to make signings, it keeps the players on their toes.

My only worry is that players are getting too comfortable with no challenge for places, as it seems most of the time we are lucky to field a starting eleven.

That, and also we should shoot more and stuff.

We need a couple of players for me, but we will get them.

That said i think the majority are underestimateing this squad and the fact most clubs are a lot weaker than last year after sales.

Agree. Especially with the shooting and stuff. We need to do much more of that.

A couple more players would be nice but with our financal situation the best we can hope for is a lone move or a new youngster, I realise that Gueye and Coleman are injured but when they come back we will get a little boost off that.

How can ya say that mate , we played the other night , started well , decent balance , got one injury and we had to totally dismantle everything , Cahill on , Barkley moved out of position with Anichebe playing down the left , our fans boil my blood , Iam I seriously living on another planet or something , we all know Saha won't play more than 12 league games and Beckfords average at best , first touch is shocking but if he gets 3-4 chances he will score , what other forward can we rely on ??? , we haven't got 1 winger at the club ( Magaye Gueye)and away from home will just utterly frustrate the life out of ya , where a Top 9 club and that's just because the league's not great and as you said not loads of teams have improved , if we where in any Europe competition we would get walloped at the first hurdle , Villereal beat us in first gear , and I bet you anything you want we won't sign anyone

A squad that stands still is one that goes backwards.
The gap between us and the top 4 is much wider than it was 2-3 years ago now.

Kenwright's fcuked us over for too many years now. All talk and no delivery.
