Anyone heard of this game?

It's Rockstar Games new title due out May 17th. Looks awesome.

The effort and technology they're putting into the character animations is unbelievable.

As I've said before, I've hated pretty much everything Rockstar have ever put out.


BUT, I think they're only publishing this. And either way, it looks genuinely interesting and a bit different. I get a boner on for any kind of narrative-focused videogame. Factor in the mo-cap for the faces, and the usage of some real world top quality actors (the old guy from Fringe, the guy from Mad Men), and it looks promising.

Fingers crossed.

It's got all the standard GTA type shoot-outs and car chases but a lot of the game is investigating the crime scenes and interviewing suspects, looks brilliant.

The latter is obviously what interests me, like. So long as it doesn't have the same ridiculous checkpoint system of past rockstar games, and the controls are all decent, I don't think the shoot outs and car chases can deter me too much.

I think pnc games have actually made a comeback now though. With handheld devices like the DS, iPhone and iPad, and then the xbox live marketplace, steam, wiiware etc, they've found a new market.

I mean, I just got Beneath a Steel Sky on my iPod!!!!




And yeah I used to go to gamestation to trade. Then I realised buying and then trading in a game is the same principle as renting it, so I got me a rental subscrip. I've saved a lot of dosh!
 
I predict that they will spend ages perfecting the interrogation system, be really happy with it, then realise there's not enough there to fill a whole game and fall back on stereotypical gameplay.
 

This game is going to be huge. I cant wait for it. Might get a few early bits of info ill post here too.
I think after RDR won Game of the Year last year and this is going to be better than RDR, its gona be a hell of a game.
 
Not been a fan of GTA for years so, considering this appears to be little more than a GTA reskin on current evidence, im not interested personally.
 
I read about this game about a month ago, and just wish it would come out sooner, looks awesome. Kinda of a "Heavy rain/GTA" Lets hope the story is a long one and can't complete it in a day lol. Looking forward to this one
