Fair enough, it could very easily have been made up. Nonetheless, the story you've invented there is nowhere near as ridiculous as you've made it sound.

Like I would be some Dutch (insert rude word here) pet.
You can be my gimp if you want, I will tap the box when its time.
Loving the press. I think its safe to say that nobody knows anything about nothing. Ive said it before and I will say it again, they make up 99% of storys and get lucky now and again. Sky are as bad as anybody.
My mate just text me, hes chief of police in erm London right. He said the reason that Naughton didnt turn up for his medical is becuase he was kidnapped. He said a Bentley pulled up alongside him and a grey haired man was seen talking to Kyle, then a red haired fella jumped out the back and threw him into the boot.
The car was tracked to as far as Burger King at Nutsford, but the police had to wait for their whopper meal so they lost it.
Just passing on what ive heard.
An agent is a player's employee. If he ever went against the players expressed wishes, he'd be fired on the spot.
It fun to think agents as agents of S.P.E.C.T.R.E., deviously manipulating their simple clients so they get 5% of £40k a week rather than £35k, but any agent who had a reputation for not acting in his clients interests would lose his entire client base, and quickly. Maybe, maybe, they'd occasional gently push a player towards a higher offer very subtly, but to be that blatent would be career suicide for the agent.
Most of the blame "agents" get should be placed at the players' doors. After all, the player pays the agent his 10% for one reason and one reason only: money. They think the agent can make the 20%+ more, so it's a good deal for them overall. We here stories about how an agent got in a players ear about money, and therefore it's the agents fault the players wants a move - the added bonus of the agent is that you choose to hire them to find the club which will pay you the most, and the agent will take the blame for that.

I doubt it.
The player in question here is 20 years old, with very little experience of transfer dealings. He could quite easily be bullied into doing something he didn't really want to do, even without the agent coming across as manipulative or pushy. Similarly rather than speak up against his club/agent/whoever, he may find it far easier to simply go along with it and then use avoidance tactics. It's not like he's a middle-aged corporate businessman, he's a young lad who plays football. Obviously it depends on the personality of the boy, but there are plenty of youngsters who get eaten up by the whole thing.

Has he signed yet?
Shows how bad we are at transfers, we have just gone over 1000 posts for a 20 yr old kid from the championship, who, lets be honest, none of us had heard of before last week.
