He'll be our player soon. Breaks into the France squad playing for us and has the Euros next summer.

Why swap that for being on Chelsea's bench?

You have to feel sorry for him.

Imagine having to go back to a club with a transfer ban, who have just sold their one top class player and appointed a complete novice to manage.

He will waste another year of his career.

Get that transfer request in Kurt.
Lol your desperation is commendable my friend. When was the last time a player with a chance of playing at a top six side with the promise of game time ever pushed for a move to Everton? Never

U talk like his off to play for Leeds. Have u actually ever been to Chelsea? Its heaven compared liverpool. You will point to beating Chelsea at home last season but so did Fulham and they still finished 3rd and they could have been out of sight in the first half had they taken their chances.

The fact u had to loan a player from them without the right to buy tells u all u need to know about your clubs level compared to them and before u start going on about being a big club back in the days. Footballers couldn't care less about that stuff anymore, u are eithe relevant now or u not. Hence we have struggle to get the players we want since Ferguson left but we also always finish above u even with all our issues.

Must have been injured the entire season then

4 months, from the Sunderland cup game apparently.

I'd always wondered why he'd struggled so much that season once he started playing well, as he'd been good at Burnley the season before.. Turns out it was perfectly understandable.

But still showed the same flaws in his game for the first half of last season before finding form in the second half.

He had a mare. Started 2018 the same. Got better by Jan 2019.

I'm not surprised he had bad games in early 2018. Everyone did, consistently.

As for the rest of 2018, you've completely re-written history. He was absolutely fine in the first half of last season overall, with some very good performances in there. Overall, had a very good season.
