2018/19 Kurt Zouma

I am intrigued as to how anyone could take anything from the changes on his Twitter account. All I can think is he tidied things up.

There are strong rumours that Burnley are in for Tomori on a permanent deal with a reputed fee of £15 million.

Irrespective with Mings going to Villa for £26 million , a player with little to no experience at the top level , a terrible injury record ( and yes I know all about Zouma serious injury ) and no where near international football then Zouma is not going to be sold for £30 million or indeed anything close.
Uwer

His price should not be dictated by other transfers like mings to villa. If Chelsea said to brands he's worth £50+ because he's twice as good as mings. Brands is going to laugh in their face and say we both know mings isn't worth that, that's irrelevant.

We can't base our fees on other teams' stupidity.

Eeeexactly.
What would transfer fees look like if say Bolasie was the benchmark.

Is he currently training with Chelsea or has he had an extended break? I see their first pre-season game is tonight, anyone have any idea if he's travelled for it?

He’s travelled to Dublin with them.

Don’t forget, in 2012, Steven Pienaar played Spurs’ whole pre season games then came here.

Yep, transfers often go right down to the wire although in this instance I'm not sure how long we would be willing to gamble as we can't afford to not sign another CB. My guess is we won't see any movement until after the Irish pre-season games. By that time Lampard should (hopefully) have had seen enough to decide if he fancies him, and their next pre-season games involve a trip to Japan that it wouldn't really make sense for him to go on if he's not in the managers plans - fingers crossed he's ours by next Friday!
