We need an attacker of some description. I just don't think we'll get the striker we need imo. It will be a wide player.

I still think richarlison might end up playing as the central forward at times too.
 


It's not the end of the world if he doesn't sign. Its preferable if he does sign, but there are other defenders out there. It actually shows a complete lack of ambition from him if he stays to sit on the bench as 4th/5th choice and play in the capital one cup.

That video means utterly nothing though.
 
It’s the club that tell them to do them little videos though. Wouldn’t look into that too much, still think we’ve a chance of getting him although it might take until late in the window so may be best to just get someone else in earlier?

Yes, we are very much reading loads into it.

BUT

My thinking is why would they pick a player they intended to sell?

But then its not like Chelsea are a club who think about things.

Mate, he is not better than two-time Europa League, one-time Premier League and Champions League winner - also once the most expensive CB in the world - David Luiz.

I think he is and has potential to be one of the best CB up there with VVD. Chelsea [Poor language removed] up so many times i.e De Bruyne, Lukaku and so on. Can't see them making another mistake. Need to set Chelsea a deadline, which I'm guessing we have and then hopefully have other targets lined up. If that was me though, I'd be thinking these [Poor language removed] have sent me on loan how many times.

If I was him I'd be counting my lucky stars that I got such a chance at a massive club after a god awful campaign with Stoke City.
