Still a very young player for a defender and still learning.
I think Chelsea will be slow to sell him but may believe that a loan for another year at a club like Everton playing at a high level may finalise his apprenticeship in the game.
It would allow us to concentrate on strengthening other areas this summer and allow players like Holgate and Feeney to prove they are good enough to replace him. I think they also may be out on loan next season learning their trade.

No way Chelsea will loan him out for another season, He’s 24 now, and you would think Chelsea have seen enough of him to have made a decision on what to do, I actually reckon they don’t rate him, so will look to sell, unless with their transfer ban they see him as a squad filler.
