he reminds me of players on fifa who have lag. you keep smashing the shoot button about 10 seconds before he actually shoots.

Don't make excuses lid. He's not up to it and needs ****ing off asap to anybody who'll give us a few quid for him. We've already got one complete liability of a striker on our books in Jelavic who is taking home 40k a week in wages, we don't need another one. I think soon Martinez will rather bring on an extra midfielder when we need a goal instead of other of those pair. Complete wasters.

I love these Monday Morning Quarterbacks.

Always know everything after the fact but tell you they knew before the fact.

In the English vernacular....bugger off.

Honestly, I thought he looked good coming on, he did more than Lukaku did in the second half, but it was a shocking miss but every striker misses sitters at times

Kone is a good player and will turn out to be a valued asset...imho like

{wanders off to cook dinner knowing that butters is going to mercilessly scorn above contribution}

The miss was absolutely shocking. He actually pulled off the hardest thing... hitting the post. It was much easier to rifle it into the net or put it 6 yards wide.

If that was in a tighter game it would have cost us. Even Jelavic would have buried that.

Still needs time IMO though. Something he wont get with a fit Lukaku in the team.

...hmmm...not sure about that. Jela would have fallen over then scuffed his shot wide

...I was told that this lad is hit and miss. He's been more miss than hit but for some reason I think he has something about him. This manager knows him well and bought him so I reckon he'll turn out fine. He'll score some important goals for us.

...I'm with Eggs.

Took a little while to get going at Wigan too. By the end of the season he was pretty much bagging a goal/match and almost kept them up.

Fellani, and Baines didn't exactly light it up right away either.

He'll be a decent No.2 striker for us. When he comes on late he provides a bit of pace and energy to the attacking side. The miss was awful but he made himself a nuisance and intern Hull had trouble getting the ball out of the defensive end.

Anichebe could do that.

Haven't seen him do much right so far. Missed two from a yard out against Stevenage and showed nothing in two hours against a poor League One side.
Yesterday he was very poor again, but I agree it is still early days yet.
Wish I could find something positive to say about him.
