Koeman: Owner support not changed

I do understand your frustration mate, I'm just marginally more patient but Sunday could well change that.

Mine was wearing thin through the Ruzumberok & Split games. Surely Moshiri must have wondered where his £200M went as we scaped past those two?

Atalanta was the final straw. I don’t understand how he survived that? Apolon, Burnley, Bournemouth, Lyon..... how bad does it have to get???

I don’t ever remember dreading going to games, & that includes Mike Walker & Walter Smith regimes. The man has sucked the joy out & when he finally gets booted, will leave us with an unbalanced squad of overpriced players.

I'm a non matchgoer, due to distance and age, and can't imagine how bad it's been this season for all of you who go regularly. It was always expecting too much for all the signings to gel, but so few have looked prem quality. Our majority shareholder stated he expected to challenge for the top six, but at this rate survival is looking to be the aim now.

I don’t think the lack of gelling is a time issue though. He’s bought 3 No 10s. Why did he do that? He could play those for the rest of the season & it won’t work.

The players we have are a lot better than what they’re producing though. He clearly isn’t getting the best out of them. That’s why he has to go.

At least we're agreed on one thing he's certainly gone and is not handling the pressure well, rather like yourself, that was quite a rant against a mere comment that he'd clearly inspired Arsenal and not Everton.

I'm not wanting to hear anything in depth from him other than something that will galvanise his own team to perform, but commenting that Arsenal aren't that great away from home when we have a far woeful away record ( and a sheite home record this season) doesn't make any sense it simply makes him an easy target for more ridicule, I'd simply wish he could focus on our own team, it's quite arrogant of you to suggest what I'm wanting him to say, in fact it's quite the opposite, I'm not interested in him mentioning other teams, I'm not interested in him pointing out the negativity of our season up to date at all, I'm not interested in him underlining his own glaring faults but they're clearly playing on your thoughts.

He should be attempting to instill some confidence in the players themselves, pointing out their strengths, reminding them why he actually went out and bought them in the first place, telling them the season starts from here, explaining what a win will do to lift them and us the fans, be positive towards them and not negative towards opponents, that would appease me.

Oh dear, somebody's feeling sensitive. The irony of you saying I'd had a rant is quite something, as is the suggestion I'm arrogant. Quite something.
Anyway, sit back and take some deep breaths....we'll need all our fume for Goodison tomorrow.

Not sensitive at all mate just read your first post again, why didn't you simply ask what would have inspired me and I would have answered, is everything quite something in your world?

You can also keep your fume to yourself there's none here just frustration.
I hope we can all enjoy the game tomorrow and then perhaps the general mood will change for the better, in the meantime peace love and tranquillity to you all including your good self Tony.

Peace be upon you Brother Larbert.
See you tomorrow at The School.

I know of the incident to which you are alluding, and like you I was filled with bitterness and still am , to an extent. But the biggest failing in that period was our own. We failed to maintain or build on our success ,so that when the ban ended we were in a position to challenge again. Other clubs did , we failed to. We stopped challenging for the title and haven't since.

I understand what you're saying, although we did take the title again 2 years after the 'incident'. But Ihe side disintegrated, we lost Howard Mk1 and while I can't agree that 'the biggest failing in that period was our own' - since the 80's it undoubtedly has been.
