Quite.

The poster has abandoned all hope of beating them because of Klopp.

Well, we have beaten them with better proven managers than Klopp at the helm.

Shankley, Paisley, Dalglish.....even Rafael came with a better cv than this Klopp bloke.

So yes, we do have a chance of beating them with this fellow at the helm.

he did but not explicitly in the sense of we WILL win the league , more of a plan to. Or at least thats the way i interpreted the words. So if he doesnt he didnt say i will do this, but if he did then it can be seen as laying ambition down.
