He's a great man manager and some of the football he had Dortmund playing at times was absolutely brilliant to watch.

Definitely not infallible though, just look at Dortmund last season, half way through January people were talking about relegation as a genuine prospect. As I said previously he's up against so many teams with stronger finances and better players in this league, that wasn't the case in Germany.

Facts: 1. he is a really really impressive record; 2. they have a very average squad. Perhaps he can get that squad to play better. Managers with excellent records have come to England and failed (Villas Boa?). But, anyone denying that this is a very solid hiring is kidding themselves. B

i don't get this line of argument. Germany has a higher co efficient and better pool of players. Would have thought that obvious by now. English clubs are richer but spend it on poo (a good deal on overpriced british players, vastly inferior to the germans - liverpool a great example of this incidentally)
