So do you think our commercial staff deliberately set out to do crap deals? It's just that there have been numerous personnel changes over the years.......or the constant could be that simply put we don't carry the commercial clout to match our fans aspirations.

Remind us again what work experience you have in the real world?

The successful Everton ladies team, have a ladies Nike kit, sponsored by Chang Soda. Yet we don't sell them ?
The Chang Soda should be on the kids kits as well..
You would sell loads more with a logo.

Its not rocket science mate you buy for one price and sell a higher price making sure you cover your overheads, Ive been doing that most of my life.

We employ professionals to run the commercial department at the club. They have experience and relevant qualifications. At least half of the senior staff are on incentivised pay deals.

But random folk on the internet know how to do the job better. Apparently.

The sad reality is that Everton are not a global brand today and haven't been for nearly 20 years.

If, as you say, we're not a global brand, who's fault is that.
I was on Google+ the other night. You might say 'google+, who uses that'. Globally, a lot and it's growing fast. At the moment 690 people follow Everton while over 1 million follow liverpool. Now for a club who, outside of Everton 1 and 2, relies totally on the internet for sales, that doesn't seem good enough. I think the marketing and sales department have done some good stuff lately, like the Jelavic add at christmas and the season ticket push but there doesn't seem to be any global growth strategy.

Why do we have an exclusivity deal with Kitbag when other clubs (inc Liverpool) deal with Kitbag and with others? Is it because the assumption is that our sales are so low that Kitbag wouldn't make any money if others could muzzle in on the low level of potential sales?

its only until 2019 after that we can sell them anywhere
