2025/26 Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Was actually going to come in here and say I think he's been quietly really really good. He's not a flashy player but he's been the one linking all of our attacking play together really and getting the ball into dangerous areas in the first place. Case in point, just went and looked and only 4 players have completed more passes into the box this season. I like him a lot.

He's an excellent player

To be fair he's right! KDH has been an excellent booking bet for us this season. Seen it from the first friendlies he played. He's not a reckless or dirty player so he's a stick on to be the unbooked player in the middle of the park who pulls a player back on the halfway line when we've been protecting a lead etc. Without checking I'm pretty sure you'll find his cards have all been late on, Tim and Gana are usually well booked by then so who else is gonna do it!

Trying to do to much, would be better off mastering one position and delivering consistently than bouncing about trying to plug gaps others need to step up and boss. The wake up call is on its way and right quick.

Have to say RP your analysis of players last night in this and other posts today is spot on.

Much like Gana initially was, he'll go underappreciated by too many for too long.

I said it in the match thread. That goal comes from his quick ball out to the wing and West Ham not being out of shape. Other players hit slow probably behind Garner ball he has to go and get and West Ham are back in shape when that cross comes in. I think he’d really started to turn up his pace of play leading up to that goal

I like him. I think he can function as a second goalscorer and help us control games. He works hard and is everywhere in that no. 10 position. He doesn't have a creative bone in his body. Zero vision. I just don't see it. That is why we need to fix the fullbacks and get our wings going. He can function as a number 10 if we are getting the creativity elsewhere.

His creativity is his movement, but you’re right. A Baines type in this set up would be unstoppable
