If our staff are doing their jobs hopefully yes, KDH won't be the only midfielder in the world who's interested in joining Everton.

I’m sure there are loads but they need to be better, available and want to join us (and their agents want them to join us).
We need at least 2 x holding CM plus an attacking one too.

I liked him a lot at Leicester. Chelsea was a silly move as he was never getting a regular game ahead of Enzo or Caciedo, probably wouldn't have even gone there if Maresca wasn't the manager.

Could do worse, my only reservation is why sign him when Alcaraz has come in on a permanent? Unless KDH is seen as more of an 8 but then you have Garner and Tim around.

Would season long loan not be the most realistic proposal here? Chelsea rarely sell their frozen out players straight away, had to loan out all of Kepa, Sterling and Chillwell and last two are still their players.

….Chelsea wasn’t a ‘silly move’, an ordinary footballer guaranteed big bucks on a 6 year deal, he’ll still be laughing his head off. Good on him.

Clubs tend not to agree to loans for players who might be sellable until very late in the window. We cannot try to leave every bit of business for our key needs to be done at the last minute. We need to commit soon to a couple and then we can be more patient. Is KDH one to commit to now? Not my call but we seem to have Luiz and Grealish in a holding pattern until late in the window already so if we do kick the can down the road he won’t lack for company.

Hes a decent stepping stone to where we want to be, and the quality of players we need, in a couple of seasons time.
