Good move wasn't even getting on the bench here. Needs to be a stand out player in the next 6 months if he is to have any chance of making it into our team. Hopefully they will play him at 10 or right side of attacking 3.

Little bit surprised that he hasn't seen any action. In those attacking midfield positions, we basically have Lookman as cover (assuming Richarlison plays as the striker). It's hard to see Sig getting a rest at all this season as there's no one to fill in. Hopefully none of them get any kind of injury.

Possibly. I'd say we're a bit short there though. Since the summer we've lost Mirallas, Bolasie, Vlasic, Rooney, Klaasen and now Dowell from those positions, and only brought in Richarlison and Bernard. Would only take an injury or two and we'd be very short.

They could, but then who would play in their positions? The only reserves we have for the front four positions are Tosun, DCL and Lookman. Just feels a bit light to me, especially for the three guys behind the striker.

I do agree, if we picked up a few injuries we might struggle.

Hes still young, so clearly im being very harsh, but the signs are not looking good for the boy regards him making it here.

Hes only been given a 3 year deal so its not as if were desperate to hold onto him and hes not been involved

I think we need to hope hes their best player and they get promoted and sign him for decent money...

Nothing to indicate he will make it with us. Mind I would rather him on the bench than Niasse, nice man that he is.

Really we should of left him at Forest, he was doing well there, we have stalled him for 6 months, same with Lookman, recalling these players, Dowell possibly isnt good enough but Lookman isnt even getting a chance

That dull chode Karanka came in and sucked all the flair out of them, leaving Dowell to rot on the bench. That stalled his progress as much if not more than we ever have.

Hmm, we don't have that much depth in the squad, but I can understand why it'd be hard to get him to sit tight and wait for an opening

He's at that stage in his career where he really needs regular minutes, so a loan makes sense
