So now we have Robinson,McLaughlin and Kinsella...all the new Seamus Coleman.

Reminds me of what Brendan Behan is reported to have said when he was told his brother had written a play. "Does he think that geniuses are boorn in litters"

That is absolutely fascinating.
Agreed. Great to see some of the subtleties involved in the split. Of course, this is all between ourselves lads. When talking to any outsiders we maintain that LP were formed by a bunch of money-grabbing thieving devil worshipers and nothing has really changed on that front!

well......"if ya know yer history"

The paper by Kennedy is fascinating and very detailed and shows that, as in every major rift, there are two sides of the story. I recommend that all Blues should set aside a few hours and sit down to read it.

I believe that even though I am obviously a chosen Evertonian, I would have back then certainly sided with Mahon over Houlding.

Interesting that once the Houlding family grip went, the RS board changed significantly and moved closer to a less hierarchical Tory outlook.

The paper reinforces the "People's Club" roots of the Goodison side of the split. Maybe we should call the RS the Tories Club or even Maggie's Mob.
