he was very good in the last test IMO. he could make it as a top class lower all rounder, he just doesn't seem to quite be there.

I dont see Broad as that type of player,maybe th eodd few run here and there but for me a bowler nothing more nothing less
 


I know it's first day of a Lords test and i don't expect him to rip through their batting order, but Swann hasn't took a wicket yet this series(hoping to jinx it so he has a quick 5-for after tea)

yeah lower all rounder i meant as in he could get an average of around 30's. he has a test 150, just think he could do better with the bat, and if he learned to pitch it up whilst using the bouncer as a suprise ball he'd be much more successful

hah. he wasn't hanging about though, he was edging every ball, the ones he didnt edge he played and missed out. use to infuriate me when batsmen use to do that against me, at least steyn is a bowler
