It's about time he got his finger out again, because apart from when he was brought in for the last couple of games of last season and was one of the only players trying, he's basically been a waste of space for a while now, which is maybe due to his fall out with Roberto or maybe due to the fact that he isn't really that arsed any more.

Hard to discuss him when he is on the bench not playing though isn't it.
He's on the bench because he has wasted every chance he has been given, apart from when we first signed him and he looked impressive he's done very little since to suggest he should be anywhere but in the dugout.
He will get yet another chance now with Bolaise injured, let's see once again how long he can last before his indiscipline kicks in.

People want snide, Kev has a bit of snide, he's a good player who has been out of form and agreed hasn't taken his chances. We know what he is capable of though, needs a run to iron out inconsistencies.

You can make excuses for him, but if we're honest he had one good season under Moyes then another mostly good season under Martinez, started the following season well enough but has since then basically been either poor or out of the team for two years.

When he plays well he can be unplayable against. He was outstanding at Stamford Bridge last season but then goes and gets himself sent off against West Ham. Infuriating as there is a fine footballer in there.
I really liked him when he first came to us and we know he has a bit of quality but when did we last see it? he is picking up a good wage and like a few others is putting in little effort and I feel short changed by him.

i think he's had enough chances to prove his worth and still come up short. Bolasie's injury may save him the chop in January but i think he'll be sold in the summer. Talent isn't in question but work rate, application and desire is.... like most of our squad at the moment.
We saw it on Sunday pal - he was very good in the second-half.
But yeh, doesn't deliver enough.
Obviously as a supporter I hope he can continue in that vain but I really do question if he can kick on from here, I really do think along with a few others it's time for a new challenge for him and let's bring players who are more consistent and also have more self discipline.

I don't get all the criticism he's been getting this year. He's fallen victim to the long ball game.
