Kevin Mirallas

He doesn't have the same pace after all of those hammy injuries, so I think he would be more influential in the middle as well. He offers more composure and goal threat than Ross atm, but he is isolated too often out wide.
Difficult to argue against the reasoning. We won't know if it works until we try it.

True dat.

Mirallas is anything but a winger, IMO.

And especially not a left winger.
Prior to arriving at Goodison, he was a left winger who often played as a second striker. We played him on the right because we had no-one else but Coleman who could play right midfield / right wing, but he has usually scored more often when played on the left.

With Del, Bolasie and Lennon in the squad, we could play Mirallas as a 10 without leaving ourselves lacking width. So although he has historically been a left winger who cuts into shooting positions, he could well adapt to playing as an advanced central mid who moves into shooting positions.

Del at least had a positive impact when he came on, gave their defence the skitters.
Can't remember a thing Kev done all game, barring a shot or two that was blocked from 30yards away.
They're both gash with a penchant for the odd flash of being a footballer. Stand them against a wall and shoot them both.
