He doesn't have the same pace after all of those hammy injuries, so I think he would be more influential in the middle as well. He offers more composure and goal threat than Ross atm, but he is isolated too often out wide.

Only 2 players in our squad have scored more than him this season, just 1 has more assists. This suggests Martinez may not have been right to bench him last season.

He hasn't been great by a long chalk, and I agree that benching him last week was correct, but he's hardly been overtaken a stampede of others has he? He should have played more last year in my opinion, particularly once Ross fell off a cliff in January.

Nobody seems to plat him regularly though. Moyes played him a bit but he was hardly the first name in the team sheet, Martinez didnt play him when he would seem like an ideal fit for him' Koeman seems to have his reservations about him and he isnt a a regular in the Belgium team.

Surely the problem lies with him in that case.

Personally he would be our second choice striker. I have never understood why he isnt played there more.

I don't disagree at all.

I don't think it's a problem with him as such, he simply isn't an outstanding player so he's never going have the team built round him or be a guaranteed starter. I do think he's dangerous though, and a natural finisher. I think we could have done with him at times last year and found it odd that he wasn't selected.

He's started every game this season apart from against Palace.

Think that's pretty much the definition of 'regular'

Mirallas is anything but a winger, IMO.

And especially not a left winger.

This for me found it weird that apparently noises from koeman in the summer was that we had too many right wingers. Then he bought a new winger and plays him on the right and moved kev left. Think they both work better the other way round.

Similarly apparently we had too many left backs so we shipped 2 out and now appear to not have much quality there.
 
Would love to see Kev as a central attacking midfielder and just going forward and causing pyar havoc
