Didn't have a great game but would keep him in. I like us playing with two wingers. Said it all about Martinez that even when on the verge of the sack, he was too stubborn to play two genuine wingers.

And this year he seems to be working really hard and putting in a defesive shift as well. Not sure if Deulofeu would do the same.

Had one of those games yesterday, things weren't coming off for him. But he worked hard which is definitely something that he's been criticised for in the past.

Not his best game, but not bad by any means.

So let's not try and execute him, like. He put in a shift and it didn't really come off for him. If his first touch had been better he might have bagged a goal still, but wingers will always blow hot and cold. Unless you're talking about the elite few who are in the £80m+ bracket.

Think he's doing a lot of work people aren't necessarily seeing. Lots of runs that aren't being spotted by the midfielders etc. But he is constantly working across the front line in defence and attack and defenders know he is a player who can assist and score. You can't leave him alone, same with Bolasie, this frees Rom up that bit more which might be why he's been able to find space to get on a few crosses. Kone and Cleverley just did not have the same effect in wide positions.
