If i was Martinez i would start him and tell him that these clowns think thats his market value...go and show them you are a £20mil pound player....i want you to get a Kone-esque hatrick against these chumps.
Rest Deulofeu on the bench and see what he can do....Deulofeu is amazing perhaps cant start every game just yet.
Key point is to get Mirallas up for the game...I think him, Pienaar and McGeady will be off in the next couple of windows and if he destroys west ham that could see another bid coming in....

Such a low bid also made me think that he was definitely leaving as West Ham must have heard something to offer such a derisory amount.
He's either going to sulk till Jan and barely play or really up his game to get into the side consistently...plus has the Euros next year.

He's currently behind Del and Kone, and considering Martinez just decided it was ok to play them together, I struggle to find where he's going to break through. He's talented enough to do so, but I don't see where his chance is going to come from in the immediate future. Probably gone in January for 7 or 8 mil if I had to guess.

Mirallas should be busting a gut in training trying to impress and at least give the manager a major decision to make. Difficult to see how Kone could be dropped/rested after Sunday, but for sure if/when Kev next S gets at least half an hour, he needs to rip the opposition to bits.

The problem for me with Mirallas is he played like you'd imagine a 10yr old would if he all of a sudden found a magic lamp like in the movie Big and swapped places with a top footballer.
So a bit like a young Tom Hanks on speed.

Mirallas cannot play a full season. Not once has he done that in his 3 seasons here, wether it be injury or form.
Maybe Martinez is just trying to condense his season into .....say 30 games instead of 45 to get the best out of him when he is on the pitch!
Exactly this. Kone is in-form and so is Del. Mirallas is still going to have a big impact this season, I feel.
