It's more than just that tho mate. He's a 1 in 6 player at best. And he's had a million chances
For that one game in the six, there is plenty to like. But his levels of consistency are on par with Bolasie sadly. I am afraid he has to be filed in the same bracket at van der Meyde etc. A very talented lad who basically can’t be arsed!

I’d have him as 4th choice winger as well mate. Hated on here because he took that pen once. Barkley did exactly same and nobody said anything..

Hated on here because he downed tools when we were at our lowest point in years, in the thick of a scrap and in complete turmoil actually mate. That Southampton away performance will never be forgotten by me. Likewise his reported antics in training along with that rat Schneiderlin. I’ll celebrate the day this toad is vanquished from our history forever.

...hated is such a strong word and sad if one incident informs that opinion. Mirallas has been a talent, but I would always question his application and professionalism.

The decision to give him a lucrative and lengthy contract at a point in his career where he was not a regular and had a questionable commitment to the cause was not his fault. Regardless, it was a ridiculous decision at the time (not hindsight) and remains a millstone around the club’s neck.

Oh yeah, it’s an unpopular opinion for sure! Personally I would have bombed Morgan out before him though.

You see I actually think that as a squad player Morgan has something to offer.

When he first signed for us he was great...and then awful for a few years admittedly.

But when he came back into the team at the end of last season I thought he performed quite well and put a shift in

I agree.

But that doesn't change the fact that Mirallas shouldn't really be anywhere near our squad

Yeah.. it is definitely time for him to go.. has been well overdue.. just feel he is seriously one of the most skilled creative players we still have and enjoyed watching him at his best.. could turn a game in a moment.. much like Barkley!

Maybe in his prime but surely not any more.

If that was the case one of his loan clubs would have wanted to keep him. By all accounts he's done nothing wherever hes been out on loan
