Lads we have been spoiled with our signings so far this year.jelly, peanuts, neismith and Kevin.4 quality players.its something we are not used too.
Doyle would be a good squad player and if we got him for say 2/3 mill it wouldn't be too bad IMO.hes defo a moyes /everton type player, full of heart and work rate.hes one of these guys that knows where the goal is but has fallen down the pecking order at the mighty wolves.change of club could do the lad wonders IMO.who would ye prefer him or Owen?

I'd agree with this, trying to play devils advocate here, i'm not Doyles biggest fan but looking at the bigger picture i think he'd fit nicely into our set up as an option - again going back to mondays game, if we intend to keep up that tempo for every game (and why shouldn't we) then the likes of Doyle would be ideal to introduce late on (as opposed to Owen strolling onto the pitch thinking about how his gee gee's are getting on at the Doncaster meet)

Wolves are pricing everybody very high, but i admit we could use a player with this kind of work rate. I imagine Moyes wants something exactly like AJ's work rate up there, it's all about athleticism. However, i think we could go for something far better than overpriced has-beens from the championship. What happened to Niang?

I think that Doyle is a very good player who has gone completely stale at Wolves,he would provide excellent cover for Jelavic,he can also play out wide and is a real hard working team player.
I would be very glad to see us sign him.

He's on a long contract at Wolves & they're under no pressure to sell, why would they allow him to leave for £2/3M, when they've just rinsed WHU for nearly £11M for Jarvis? They'd want what they paid & more imo i.e. £6.5M+

I wouldn't go near him at that sort of level.

Nian is seventeen years old,we might as well play Hallam Hope.
I had never even heard of Niang before.I am sure he is a talent and would love to see us sign him for the future, but how many have seen him play before and how many are in a position to say if he is close to being ready for our first team at the moment ?

Hallam hope is shocking seen him play at the bootle fc match last season in the senior cup and the lad was terrible

Very good player. Ideally a second striker type. Work ethic fits here, not entirely sure his game does. Wolves had all the creativity of a cement slab, tough to gauge his play.

I'd rather have Anichebe than Doyle... that says it all. And i would much rather give Vellios playing time than this gimp.
