Player Valuation: £10m
Just thinking out loud. Kenwright said that 'There is no-one out there with the kind of money we need for their football club'.

If thats the case, how come the Man City's and Sunderlands and even Pompey's of this world are getting new investment?:confused3:

Because were Everton... Duhh!

Suppose i asked for that and to an extent, you have a point. But it is something frustrating for me. I'd argue that historically, we are bigger than those 3 clubs i mentioned above. Yet, we cant find investment. I'd also argue that we are a big club with decent support that could be taken further.

Frustrating.

Oh my, a Kenwright bashing thread. Im staying out, just gonna throw a little

chooooooooooooooo chooooooooooooooooooooo

out there, then im leaving it alone.

Oh and this :

02 Net £975,000
03 Net £8.25m
04 Net £1.5m
05 Net -£20.2m
06 Net £25.1m
07 Net £4m
08 Net £10.5
09 Net £4.5m

Overall Net £34.625m / 8 years = £4.32m

He does not want to relinquish control of the club, and no potential investor wants to pay huge sums of money for investment and no control.

Isnt Frustration the whole thing of being an Everton fan?

We're either fighting relegation, or not getting to 4th.

I enjoy it myself

Even Southampton have been takin ova by a billionaire also Notts county have just been takin ova. its just not fair!

Have to say, I just find it very weird how City was so attractive to the Arabs. If I had more money then two continents combined, I would surely buy a club with proper history, proper fans, proper place in football. So Villa, Everton, Tottenham would be interesting. But City is just meh.

But FIFA need to apply wage and transfer caps within a sensible area. Football as it stands is ****ed up. IMHO. And my team are better off then most.

City where for sale, thats possibly why they picked them. The others teams you mentioned arent. Spurs have a decent board, with decent funds, Villa got Randy, who isnt great, but isnt bad and Everton, well, lets just say Everton isnt For Sale.

I just don't think that is a problem with the money they got. With their riches everything is for sale.

If you implemented wage and transfer caps you would see proper core values be the norm again.
Youth academies would be a must. Trophies wouldn't be won of the size of your wallet. The manager would mean more. The stability within clubs would rise. Young players would be given more chances, so the national team improve. You would never see the tedious top 4 dominance.

I would just LOVE for it to happen.

Be careful what you type, Bill could be reading you know...

"I read on the Internet the other day, Bill Kenwright's been a great chairman but his sound bites are ludicrous and pathetic... I only mentioned two! One of them was I'm working 24/7 to find a billionaire. Well, I do work in my sleep I promise. As I put my head on the pillow the only way I can get to sleep is think of money for this football club. And that's what I do. I think of money, especially July and August, which is typically the time when you need money. But I'm not gonna make that sound bite. But daily, daily the search goes on. I do meet people, and there are people, looking for investors for me. In Russia, in China, and America, in the Far East... There are people out there looking, but we do live in a world were the economy of the world ain't good at the moment and I know, as I was told 47 times tonight, the odd football club at the moment is finding investors... Nott's County was brought up tonight."
