Sky sports believe we are battling with Leicester for this guy.

It makes sense to me, he's free, Mucha moving on, maybe a future replacement for Tim.

Good keeper when I have seen him play (mostly for Ireland), He is more than likely the future Irish No 1, Good competition for Howard but would he settle for being an understudy (can't see Moyes dropping Howard in the forseeable future), I have mentioned him before as a possible freebie, but I think where ever he ends up it will be as first choice.

Mucha appears to be on his way after publicly stating that he wants first team football, we will probably end up with Lonergan from Preston as backup.

in that case the best thing business wise is to sell Mucha on for a profit and bring this Westwood in for back up.

Lonegan is back on the bench at Preston. That deal looks unlikely now. westwood seems the best option, but i don't know how long he would be willing to sit on the bench for. I can't see Howard stepping aside for a while.

Doubt it, he'll sit on the bench for three years or something. If he wants to be no 1 for Eire then he should swerve us.

Why bother? Howard will play every match even if he's been dead for two weeks at the time. We might as well just put an extra outfield player on the bench.

Doesn't even look like we were interested in Larsson, EVER. The more I think about it, why should we pay a guy wages to take corners and free kicks? He has no pace, and isn't what we need on the wing. N'Zogbia on the over hand, I would be gutted if we missed out on him. Pretty much only he from all the shower of ****e that's been mentioned so far I would be gutted about.

People get too nervy about signing players (not saying you are mate, I only quoted you're post for my Larsson point), and I think we need to chill until at least 2 players are sold. If a big players goes for £20m+, then 'll eagerly await news.
