I don't see the fuss about Begovic, had a couple of good season about 3/4 season ago, then went to warm the bench at Chelsea.

Most GK's want to be a number 1, he was content to go and settle for a high wage and splinters. When he came in last season he looked miles behind where he was.

Don't want to rob someones bench, want to take someones starting GK.

Begovic has started 17 of 38 league games for Chelsea. He is not only warming bench there. I want a quality goalkeeper and a quality backup. Begovic/Krul duo would be absolutely perfect. Both home-grown, both should be interested in our new project.

He only started them games because Courtois was injured.

In 24 games this season he conceded 29 goals, in the premier league in specific he conceded 24 in 17 league games. The games Courtois was injured, do you believe he would be in the starting lineup over Courtois. He is very much their number 2.

Home grown or not, he is not for me. Swerve.

I really like the idea about Krul being our new No. 2. Home-grown, really solid PL quality goalkeeper, but injury prone. Begovic as our number one would be then totally perfect. Home-grown too and would be wasted on the bench in Chelsea. Mandanda/Krul wouldn't be too bad either, massive upgrade to what we have right now.

Joel on loan. He needs to play. Would be wasted here on the bench. And not good enough to be play for us. He is a decent number two for a PL team.

With a supposed £100mil+ to spend you would be happy with Mandanda or Begovic as 1st choice and Krul as a backup going into the season?

I'd be getting my pitchfork out
