Keeper and defenders for next summer?

Not sure if this subject is featured elsewhere in GOT so apologies up front if it is.
After our summer transfer dealings (which on the whole were good I believe) I just wondered which players people would want to see us get in, either in January or next summer, for the positions which need strengthening most (in my opinion) - goalkeeper and defence.
I think we need to have somebody, as well as Robles, seriously challenge Howard in goal and I think we could do with at least 1 centre back to replace an ageing Distin who I believe will be having his last notable season with us.
Any ideas?

Dissapointed we never signed a decent centre back in the transfer window. Shawcross or Martins Indi would have been ideal, but looks like we spunked all our money on Lukaku.

We definately need competition for howard though. Let's not forget he's 103 aswell!
Joel looks sturdy enough as backup, but certainly doesn't look anywhere near like he could step up as a long term replacement.

Personally think we need a replacement keeper for Robles. He's just nowhere near the standard of a top 4 team.

After that then I'd love to sign a quality left sided CB. Let alcaraz go. Suppose it depends how good the kid Galloway is.

Robles is clearly not up to it. Alcaraz is too slow as well. It's a shame Roberto wasted resources on getting those two, and Kone, in from Wigan.

Definitely this.

I mean really. We have no idea what the priorities will be next summer.

Lukaku might not score a single goal this summer, so a striker might be priority.

Barkley might never recover (god forbid). And a mid might be most important.

And so on and so on.

Or we might be boss and not need anyone.
