Kaká - unstoppable in his prime

Player Valuation: £6m
Before the Messi/Cristiano Ronaldo decade of dominance of the worlds best player award there was Kaká, an almost forgotten man. It’s easy to forget just how unbelievably good he was in his prime at Milan. The acceleration and that long stride just saw him glide past players on a regular basis. Every game you watch of his he does it. Thank God for YouTube that his best is captured, as without it he wouldn’t be remembered as that player.

Watching the two Milan vs United games from 2007 was just reminded again what an incredible player he was, and how injury robbed him of another four to five years at the very top.

As well as coming along just before the Messaldo (Ronassi?) era, it probably doesn't help that he was in the generation just before the insane hype over players coming from social media, youtube reels etc.

Still, his pass for Milan's third in the 2005 final. Best I ever saw, they should have just stopped the game then and there in awe of it.

Better than Messi.

Haven’t even seen his type of player since tbh. Saw a glimpse of that young Felix lad and he has a similar style (will have to go a long way to be as good) but there’s not been many since.

That Milan team with him and Shevcenko was a thing of beauty, and the moves both made to Real and Chelsea respectively knackered them both in.
Think Shevchenko was past his best when he went to Chelsea. Kaka wasn't, or certainly shouldn't have been when he went to Madrid

City try to sign him before Madrid , £40m if I remember correctly , he bottled it coz they wanted to build the team around him .
