If we forgive Moyes for that humilation then we will forgive him for anything. There's no excuse, Everton lost the game rather than Liverpool winning it. Liverpool are not a good cup team, they were just lucky to be playing a shambles.I think that recent easy 3-0 Moyes designed Liverpool win gave them all the confidence they needed going into this match,

It was obvious after 10 minutes that we were never going to win the game. We are psychologically in awe of Liverpool. We had no belief. Our passing game and attacking intentions were non existent. The space we gave their midfield was shocking. It was like Gerrard had hypnotized them. Even when Liverpool gave us a blunder goal we couldn't step it up. As usual we sat back and let them build up a momentum that would never allow us back into the game.

The final scoreline should have been much more decisive for them. Cardiff City gave them a much more competitive match.

IMO only Jelavic put in the effort. I expect him to be dropped by Moyes at some point next season, be sold and then flourish at his new club.

I've always said Distin is accident prone. Why not just kick the ball out of play rather than lay it on a plate for Saurez? Saurez destroyed him today.

Moyes has already destroyed our box of tricks Drenthe. I'm sure Drenthe will not hang around with this idiot for much longer.

Also Pienaar must be mad considering returning to a club that's just sold him. This is luck that Moyes doesn't deserve.

Over the next few days we will hear every excuse imaginable for this unforgiveable performance, all of them will be delusional crap

Great post mate. I'm ****ing destroyed.

Diffrence between the 2 clubs

At 1-0 down they are still confident they will score atleast 2 and beat us

At 1-0 up where thinking **** i hope we can score another because we will never hold on to this lead

They always raise there game for big occasions we bottle it

I'm gutted, this is the worst i have ever felt after an Everton game, after the game i was just sat there with my hands in my head, silent in the car on the way home.

Big thanks to Keiran, bumped into him at McDonalds and he sorted the lad who i travelled up from bournemouth with, with a ticket off a mate of his via a phone call.
Top blue !

I hope you weren't driving.

Although annoyed at the performance, the worst thing is the depressing inevitable predictability of it all. Some of us have been here before, '86 and '89. At least we had a go then, actually tried to win. Do we have a better team than them and therefore have blown a big opportunity? Possibly, but they have more match winners than us. Bellamy, Suarez and Gerrard can win you a match on their own. Who do we have who can do this? Jelavic maybe, but other than that, just a drenthe shaped gap on the bench.

The point I'm inarticulately trying to make is, given that we can't attract/afford individual brilliance, you have to get the whole team to perform if you are to have a chance. I question if Moyes has the ability/belief/mentality to get the team to do it when it counts. The evidence suggests not.

I'm usually a pessimistic ****er when it comes to derbys. This is the one time I allow myself to be an optimist and believe we had a chance to beat the RS on the big stage. Never been more gutted by a match, except for Villarreal.

I walked away from wembley in shock, not sure how we managed to throw it away. Really glad my bruv managed to get tickets tho a day at wembley and a piss up with the family is what I needed.
