You don't go from a side who is battling for European spots year on year to what we have seen over the past few weeks, without good reason. My comspiracy theory is that Moyes wants to walk but won't jump ship unprompted. Kenwright won't ask him to go because he is a good manager. The only way he can save face is to get a campaign going among the supporters to get him out, in so doing he walks claiming the fans made him go and he saves face.
Ok, we have no money, but mucking about with team selections to the detriment of the team just to engineer a move is a snide tactic.

Or has anyone else any reason why we are so parc at the moment?

wrong, we lost to city and chelsea away despite playing OK, and lost to the RS thanks to the ref, no shame in that

City I have no problems with...they're smashing sides left right and centre and I think we set up well.

The RS game is like you've put it.

But the Chelsea game was a roll over. They didnt even get out of 3rd gear.

Don't buy into that at all, I don't think Moyes wants to walk, but my feeling is that he is too safe, he won't get sacked as we can't afford it, he won't walk cos he is one of the best payed managers in the league, so its catch 22. To suggest he wants the fans to hound him out is a bit bizarre tbh, but he should have to answer some serious questions about his negative tactics and and this nick one to win attitude while sticking by the usual suspects that are not delivering. I have said it in other threads and I think the majority would agree that 4-5-1 has been sussed out by the top and bottom teams and is too easy to combat. We can't buy a a clean sheet at the moment so 'nicking one' is not much use.

I would love to see a question and answers session for the fans with Moyes, probably 90% of the questions would be the exact same. Why do you play 4-5-1 CONSTANTLY, why do you stick by your favorites, why do you make defensive substitutions when we are loosing etc etc etc

But we should have won all three considering the way we can play, agreed about the derby match, was there and couldn't beleive it, daylight robbery.

i don't think it could be the case, because every performance like that puts moyes further and further away from a top job. I can't think of any sides above us, or in fact around us, who would need to take moyes on at the moment. So even if he did engineer himself the boot it would be to a smaller job anyway.

something's not right, however. I hope someone is asking some serious questions behind closed doors.

The whole Everton board and management is set up to under achieve. Its in no ones interest to achieve . Why? Moyes is on a huge salary, so are Neville and others. The existing board have played down expectations by the 'we have no money' repeated argument for continuous stagnation. Robert Earle is MAKING money from Everton and Kenwright hasnt invested anything into the club.Moyes has the perfect job.no matter how bad we play he is safe because 'its better than Walter Smith'. The logic of the madhouse.

NAIL HIT HEAD ON rearrange into well known phrase or saying. ( quite possibly )

Problem is that the talent on the side has slowly gotten worse in recent years. The rich clubs have gotten better. How we do against a side like fulham will be telling. There is no team that moyes can put out there that, on paper, can challenge city or Chelski or man united.
