HB's views are not representative, although there are a fair few who share his opinion . Probably the general consensus, on ave, is that he is a model professional, good captain, a fairly decent RB - tho not without his limitations - but not so good a midfielder.

Good right back, and a great captain, Often argued over by everton fans wether hes good or bad, but i think on the whole he is a good player. He has few mistakes at right back..

i like him a lot and think especially with our small squad he is a very valuable player as he is so versitile.

Someone who organizes the team, keep the morale up, organize players, and tell them when they are in the wrong. Neville does all of them

He's the worst player in our starting XI by miles and he's the captain and we give him a four year deal. I am at a loss for words. Phil Neville is not a good footballer.

I have always liked great captains who push the team forward, lead by example and can be relied on. Can that be said of neville?
