He's had 6 weeks to get fit. He can't have been that out of shape that he's still fighting to prove his fitness in training.

Can't decide if he's getting limited opportunities because he isn't quite good enough or if he's played poor due to getting limited opportunities. I think its probably the first option but it would be nice to find out. Maybe he'll get a longer run out soon.

Needs to have a couple of full games for proper judgement. If richie was the new player or DCL was the new player then we would also be questioning them. They have been allowed time and adjustment but recently they have also been as bad as anyone

Needs starts to properly judge, if he fails to perform from a starting position then fair enough don’t take the option up. I suspect his issues are not so much training, because he was with Bournemouth right up to signing, but wether he’s still feeling some effects from having COVID
